Lark Ellen Aged Care
Lark Ellen Aged Care has a strong reputation in the community for delivering exceptional quality of care. Being family-run for over 50 years, we genuinely care about each and every resident.
With only 62 residents, we are able to offer the comforts of home, to deliver an intimate, safe and nurturing environment. This personalised, individual approach is fast becoming a rarity in the ‘corporate’ Aged Care industry.
We have highly qualified and experienced Nursing staff looking after our residents 24/7. Through our commitment to education and staff development, we have achieved many long-term staff, thus providing a genuine sense of familiarity, stability and understanding.
Our staff are supported by a proficient team of Allied Health Professionals including Physiotherapists, Dieticians and Podiatrists, and our seven-day Lifestyle Program focuses on stimulating the senses, physical movement, social interaction as well as celebrating cultural diversity.
Housed in a heritage-listed architectural building, Lark Ellen boasts a refurbished home with affordable boutique style accommodation. Our homely rooms offer natural light and ventilation and are deliberately stylised in soothing green tones to create an atmosphere of calm. Our sun-drenched terrace and luscious herb garden offers a peaceful space to read, enjoy birthdays, BBQ’s or simply a cup of tea with family.
Personalised Exercise Programs and onsite Hair and Beauty allow residents to continue their lifestyle and feel dignified, while nutritious meals are freshly prepared on site each day to uplift and energise. Lark Ellen is located in a quiet residential area with ease of parking, making visiting or heading out for lunch with your loved ones, a huge convenience.
The special combination of a family-run home, experienced staff and boutique accommodation, will give you the peace of mind that you or your loved ones are not only receiving the very best of care, but in a place one can truly feel at home.
My Dad Bill is a very happy resident at Lark Ellen and appreciates the variety in meals as well as the daily activities. He looks forward to visits from the guide dogs, the primary school kids and the choral concerts.– Peter
